Azerbaijan is ready to continue and expand cooperation with Kazakhstan within the framework of the Transcaspian international transport route (Middle Corridor), Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said at today's 19th session of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan held in Baku.
According to Report, he said the expansion of cooperation is needed for a broader use of the transit potential of the two countries.
"In addition, Azerbaijan is ready to deepen cooperation within the framework of the potential transit capacities of the Zangazur corridor, which is an important part of the Middle Corridor. The expansion of transport and transit ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is of great importance," the minister added.
