Overhaul of Azerbaijan's Shirvan 2 crane ship completed

The overhaul of the Shirvan 2 crane vessel of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) has been completed, Report informs, citing ASCO.

The ship was repaired by the Bibiheybat Shipyard and the Shipyard of the ASCO Caspian Oil Fleet.

The ship's mechanisms, main engines, pumps, piping systems, electric motors, propulsion system, and other parts were repaired during the repair work.

The underwater and surface parts of the vessel's hull were replaced and painted.

Upon completion of the work, the ship's crane unit with a capacity of 100 tons was tested. After that, the vessel was put to sea test to check the mechanism and electrical equipment in motion. Upon successful completion of the trial, the ship was handed over and put back into operation.

The Shirvan 2 crane ship is 98.55 meters in length and 17 meters in width and is equipped with 2×2400 horsepower main engines.
