WUF13 will have effective impact and successful outcomes, Brian Ngigi Mutoni, member of the Global South Youth Platform from Kenya, told journalists during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.
He shared his impressions of the forum: "This is my first WUF event. I am learning a lot here. The forum is inclusive. I am glad that my first experience is here. Within WUF13, people suffering from colonialism, injustice, inequality, and housing shortages will gain insights about urbanization and how accessible and adequate housing can be ensured in different countries, especially in Global South nations."
According to Ngigi Mutoni, the housing issue is a global problem that also affects the Global South: "I believe the sessions and discussions held here will influence the shaping of our future. Overall, I think this forum will have very effective impact and successful results."
