Jabbar Hashimov tanker returned to operation after overhauls

The tanker Jabbar Hashimov belonging to the Sea Transport Fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO) has been overhauled, Report informs, citing ASCO.

The overhauls were carried out with high quality at the Zygh Ship Repair and Construction Yard.

As part of the work done, the underwater and surface parts of the tanker, the main deck and the gangway were completely cleaned and painted. The main and auxiliary engines and pumps have been repaired.

The control systems of the floating vehicle have been adjusted. Repairs were carried out in the machinery department and piping systems, useless parts were replaced, and electrical installation works were performed on the ship.

In addition, the staff's living rooms, sanitary facilities and canteens have been renovated.

After the overhauls, the tanker successfully passed sea trials and was returned to operation.

The length of the Jabbar Hashimov tanker is 150 meters, the width is 17.3 meters, and the total carrying capacity is 12,000 tons.
