The integration of the electronic systems of the State Customs Committee and the Compulsory Insurance Bureau will create conditions for speeding up border crossing processes and determine in electronic format the validity of the Green Card at customs points, First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC), Ismayil Huseynov, said at a news conference on the completion of the integration process in connection with the green card agreement between the State Customs Committee and the Compulsory Insurance Bureau, Report informs.
"This is significant from the viewpoint of regulating processes in conformity with the legislation during probable insurance events in the future," Ismayil Huseynov said.
In his opinion, important work has been carried out between the public and private sectors in the information exchange sector: "Mutual integration of systems has already been carried out with a number of government agencies, which allows online exchange of documents and other necessary information."
The data exchange between the information systems of the State Customs Committee and the Compulsory Insurance Bureau makes it possible to determine the validity of the Green Card in electronic format at customs points before vehicles registered in Azerbaijan leave the country.
