An international scientific and practical conference on “International Transport and Logistics Corridor: Development Impulses from Zangilan” has kicked off in the city of Zangilan, Report informs.
The conference is being held in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, which are part of the East Zangazur economic region, jointly organized by the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee, and the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education (MSE).
The purpose of the event is to organize discussions between the public, private, and academic sectors regarding the development and expansion of trans-regional transport corridors and to establish cooperation between interested parties.
More than 200 guests from 15 countries and 8 international organizations, including international financial institutions, are participating in the conference. The event will include panel discussions on several topics with the participation of employees of local and foreign state institutions, international organizations, international financial institutions, think tanks, scientists, and managers of international transport companies.
The conference will continue its work tomorrow in Baku.
