Expert's conclusion: Price boost in real estate market not expected in Azerbaijan

Baku. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ After a sharp devaluation of the national currency of Azerbaijan the real estate prices have not changed, and stability predicted in the coming months. Report was told by the president of MBA consulting company Nusrat Ibragimov, commenting on the impact of the devaluation of the manat to the market.

Accordint to the expert, there is a decrease in activity of the real estate market. "Since 2000, the activity has not been so low.Prices are the same as before the devaluation.This applies to both new and secondary apartments, and to the land market. In the next 1-2 months the prices will not rise.The old prices will remain, as they have  already  reached its maximum level", said the head of the company.

According to the experts, due to the devaluation of the manat and fall in activity, the property prices may fall.
