Expert: Integration of TITR with trans-Asian routes to form effective transport network in Central Asian region

Integration of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR – Middle Corridor) with trans-Asian logistics routes will help create an efficient transport network across Central Asia, expert in the field of international relations Aimen Jamil told Report.

She said the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) could achieve significant synergies with China's Belt and Road Initiative by providing connectivity between the Middle Corridor and trans-Asian logistics routes.

"This will create a more connected and efficient network across Central Asia. China, through its investment in infrastructure, expertise in construction and logistics, and by acting as a bridge for Central Asian countries to access its vast market, can play a key role in economic development and prosperity of the entire region," she said.
