Construction of Barda-Agdam road continues at an accelerated pace

The construction of the Barda-Agdam road, one of the projects for the creation of the road infrastructure in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions, continues at an accelerated pace.

Report informs that the length of the Barda-Agdam highway starting in the city of Barda is 45 km. As instructed by the president, the Barda-Agdam highway will be built taking into account the development plan of Karabakh in accordance with the first technical category and will be four-lane.

In some parts of the road, major construction work is coming to an end. At the 25th and 40th kilometers of the road, the construction of two single-arch bridges with a length of 91.3 meters and 18.2 meters is being completed, and at the 41st kilometer - an overpass with a length of 32.2 meters. At the 4th kilometer of the road, the construction of a traffic interchange with a length of 66 meters has begun. At the 29th kilometer of the road, the construction of the Pit stop started.

The Barda-Agdam highway is being laid to the city of Agdam liberated from occupation. The first 14-kilometer section of the route passes through the city of Barda and several settlements of the district. In general, the road covers more than 20 villages of these districts, including the cities of Barda and Agdam.
