It is proposed to operate a block train between Baku International Sea Trade Port and Georgia’s Poti and Batumi ports, Azerbaijani Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev said, Report informs.
According to the minister, the organization of such a route and the determination of uniform tariffs were discussed in a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili.
The meeting took place today in Tbilisi within the framework of the tripartite meeting of the transport ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Georgia. The parties discussed the wide use of the potential of the Middle Corridor and the increase of the transmission capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
