Baku airport unaffected by Windows system failure

The Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Azerbaijan, has emerged unscathed from a global Windows 10 system failure that affected devices worldwide.

Report informs that, according to a statement from airport officials, the facility's operations remain uninterrupted, thanks to its reliance on the Amadeus system. This advanced aviation operations management platform has continued to function flawlessly, ensuring the airport's stability amidst the digital turbulence.

While the majority of airlines operating from Heydar Aliyev International Airport reported no disruptions, there was one exception. The Flynas airline's Riyadh-Baku-Riyadh route faced cancellation due to the technical issues.

Despite potential challenges for carriers such as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, Kuwait Airways, and Turkish Airlines, airport authorities remain optimistic. They expect all scheduled flights for the day to proceed as planned.
