Azersu: Baku needs a third main water pipeline

To ensure sustainable water supply for existing networks in the eastern part of Baku and create water supply networks in areas where they do not exist, there is a need to build a third main water pipeline in the eastern part of Baku, in the direction from Jeyranbatan to the settlements of Zira and Gala, Report informs, citing Spokesman for Azersu water company Anar Jabrayilli.

Anar Jabrayilli noted that most of the new residential areas are being built in the eastern part of Baku.

"There are two water pipelines in this part, one of which was laid in the 1980s in the direction of Jeyranbatan-Mashtaga. The other was put into operation in 2013. It is imperative to lay a third main water pipeline and build reservoirs to provide people with water," Anar Jabrayilli opined.
