Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have carried out their first cargo transportation using the electronic permit system, Report informs via the Land Transport Agency. A cargo vehicle from an Uzbek transport company arrived in Azerbaijan on January 27. The complete digitalization of the exchange and issuance of permit forms through the "Icaze" system ensures transparency, increases the efficiency of cargo transportation, and reduces the time needed to obtain permits, the agency noted. In the future, there are plans to gradually implement the "e-Permit" system for the exchange and issuance of electronic permits with other countries.
