Azerbaijan, South Korea explore co-op in real estate registration systems

A delegation of the State Service on Property Issues under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy visited South Korea to conduct an exchange of expertise with representatives of relevant state institutions in the field of state registration and cadaster of real estate, Report informs via AZERTAC.

As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation held meetings with the representatives of the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatics Corporation (LX), which operates under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea, as well as the Korea Real Estate Board, and the "Wavus" company. The meetings focused on advancing cooperation in cadaster and real estate registration, geodesy, and national spatial data.

The Azerbaijani delegation was briefed on the operations and information systems of the aforementioned government entities, along with their applied innovations and implemented long-term strategic state programs. Subsequently, the Korean experts delivered presentations on digitalization efforts in the real estate cadaster, mapping, geodesy, national spatial data, and real estate valuation, as well as the artificial intelligence (AI) solutions utilized within these sectors.

The Azerbaijani delegation also provided information on the software and information systems currently applied in the state registration and cadaster of real estate in Azerbaijan.

During the meetings, the sides reached an agreement to enhance cooperation in digital cadaster and real estate registration systems between the two countries and to continue the exchange of expertise in this area.
