Azerbaijan invites Bulgaria to take advantage of Middle Corridor

Azerbaijan has invited Bulgarian transit operators and logistics companies to take advantage of the Middle Corridor, the Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov said at the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Report informs.

The minister noted that Azerbaijan has become one of the reliable transport and logistics centers of Eurasia.

“Sea and air ports, railways and roads, which are part of the East-West and North-South international transport corridors, give us great advantages in expanding trade relations. The Middle Corridor is a reliable link connecting Europe with Central Asia and China, and a safe transport route. The newly created Alat free economic zone is also located in this corridor. The main goal here is the creation of modern industrial enterprises and the production of export-oriented goods. I want to familiarize investors with the work of economic zones, and I encourage you to make the most of it,” Mammadov said.
