Azerbaijan invests over $10 billion in reconstruction of Karabakh and East Zangazur

The government of Azerbaijan has by far allocated a staggering 18 billion manats (over $10 billion) for reconstruction efforts in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur economic regions, as reported by Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, during the International Conference within the Baku Climate Action Week.

According to Report, he said these funds are being directed towards various infrastructure restoration projects, mining industry development, and other crucial sectors.

Huseynov emphasized the significant role of the private sector in the rehabilitation process, stating, "We are working very closely with the private sector and civil society, which are truly key factors in rebuilding these regions alongside the government."
