Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom have discussed the preparation and adoption of a roadmap for cooperation in transport and digital development, Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said on X, Report informs.
The discussions took place during Nabiyev's meeting with Duncan Norman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan.
"We discussed expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom in transport, digital development, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity," Nabiyev said.
The sides also exchanged views on the contribution the United Kingdom could make to the development of the Middle Corridor.
They further discussed opportunities to cooperate with leading British companies on establishing data centers and implementing other digital infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan.
