AZAL to carry out flights to two more Pakistani cities

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has been allowed to carry out flights from Baku to Pakistan's Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, Report informs via foreign media.

The decision was made at the meeting between Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khizr Farhadov and Federal Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq in which it was agreed to increase air links.

During the meeting, Pakistan International Airlines and Azerbaijan Airlines agreed on code sharing.

Federal Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that there are deep religious, cultural and fraternal relations between the two countries, the promotion of mutual flights will promote tourism and trade between the two countries.

According to the spokesperson of the Aviation Division, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khizr Farhadov met with the Federal Minister of Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafiq in which bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest were discussed.

During the meeting, it was agreed to increase the air links between the two countries. After this meeting, it was decided to allow Azerbaijan Airlines to operate flight operations from Baku to Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
