Air passenger transport in Azerbaijan up 38%

In January-July of this year, 1,568,300 passengers were transported by air transport in Azerbaijan, 37.8% more than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Some 99.9% of transportation was carried out by state aircraft, and 0.1% by private aircraft.

Over the past year, air cargo transportation decreased by 38.1% to 168,500 tons.
