ADY: Lack of single digital platform is one of main issues regarding Middle Corridor

One of the main issues regarding the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) is the lack of a single digital platform, Arif Aghayev, adviser to the chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) on digitization and international investments, said at the consultation meeting of heads of railway administrations on the establishment of the Eurasian Transport Route International Association held in Baku, Report informs.

“A single platform could integrate various digital systems. The countries participating in the project are at different levels of digitization in this regard. This makes it difficult to implement a single system for information exchange and cargo tracking. Due to the lack of a single digital platform, coordination between the participating countries is seriously hampered. This causes delays in supply chains at all levels,” Aghayev said.
