All three AZAL flights diverted to Ganja due to fog arrive in Baku - UPDATED

All three AZAL airline flights that were diverted to Ganja International Airport due to heavy fog in Baku have arrived at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

According to Report, the aircraft operating on the Moscow-Baku, Tel Aviv-Baku, and Istanbul-Baku routes landed in Baku at 10:14, 11:27, and 12:49 respectively.

On the night of January 13-14, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) flights scheduled on routes Istanbul-Baku (J2-078), Moscow-Baku (J2-808), and Tel Aviv-Baku (J2-322) were diverted to an alternate airport due to fog at the destination, Report informs via the Azerbaijan Airlines' press service.

The planes successfully landed at Ganja International Airport.

According to airline regulations, passengers waiting for departure at the airport will be provided with all necessary services if required. For additional inquiries, passengers can contact the airline via email at callcenter@azal.az.

Additionally, the IrAero airline's Novosibirsk-Baku flight, operated on an SU95 aircraft, was redirected to an alternate airport by the captain's decision due to fog at the destination.

Due to fog in the Baku airport area, changes were made to the schedule of several flights.
