Salt production increased by 46% in Azerbaijan

In January-November 2024, 82,434 tons of salt were produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

This figure is 23.1% higher year-on-year.

In November alone, 8,072 tons of salt were produced in the country, which is 46% more compared to a year ago.

As of December 1, 2024, Azerbaijan had 81.7 tons of finished product reserves.

In 2023, 73,267 tons of salt were produced in Azerbaijan, which was 5.4% less compared to 2022.
