In January-February 2022, the oil export from Russia to China dropped 9% to 12.66 million tons, Report informs, referring to China's General Administration of Customs of China.
The worth increased by 31.4% during the past two months to $7.46 billion.
According to the Administration, Russia still ranks 2nd for oil supply to China. Saudi Arabia is ranked first with $16.4 million tons of oil worth $8.74 billion.
Russia is followed by Iraq (10.01 million tons for $5.7 billion), Oman (8.93 million tons worth $5.34 billion), and Kuwait (6.32 million tons worth $3.8 million).
In 2021, Russia's oil exports to China fell by 4.5% to 79.64 million tons worth $40.29 billion (+45.5%).
