Europe's largest solar panel manufacturing plant to be built in Russia

Russia's Unigreen Energy has signed a contract with Limak Maras, a subsidiary of the Limak group of companies in Russia, to produce solar panels in the Chernyakhovsk city of the Kaliningrad region, Report informs, referring to foreign media.

With a total value of 24.7 billion rubles, this enterprise will become the largest solar panel plant in Europe.

The new plant, a subsidiary of Unigreen Energy, will be called EnCore and will be located in the Chernyakhovsk industrial zone.

Its commissioning will be completed by March 2023.

The plant will produce solar panels using HJT technology, which has recently been in great demand and has very high efficiency.

A significant part of the products will be exported to foreign countries, including Europe, Asia, etc.
