AzerGold may cooperate with British companies

Chairman of the Board of AzerGold CJSC Zakir Ibrahimov met with Joel Derbyshire, Director of the International Trade Department of the British Embassy in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the meeting discussed possible prospects for cooperation between British mining companies and AzerGold.

Ibrahimov gave detailed information about AzerGold's achievements in geological exploration, production, and other areas, launching new mines in the regions, and increasing economic efficiency in the mining sector. Noting that AzerGold attaches great importance to international cooperation to optimize further and improve its activities, the chairman said that it had a successful partnership with British companies.

Commenting that British companies have advanced experience in the mining industry, Derbyshire stated his country is interested in developing a partnership with Azerbaijan in this area. The diplomat also expressed that such meetings created good opportunities for further expansion of cooperation.

The sides focused on development trends in the mining sector and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
