A Memorandum of Understanding is expected to be signed in the coming days between the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration under the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Zakir Ibrahimov, chairman of the Board of AzerGold CJSC, said at an event on "Current Problems, Reforms and Development Prospects in the Mining Sector," Report informs.
According to him, the memorandum will cover areas such as scientific and technical cooperation in the field of earth sciences and mining, exploration, evaluation of mineral resources, exchange of information, and experience.
"I am confident that joint cooperation will have a significant impact on the development of the mining industry of both countries," he concluded.
