Azerbaijan sees increase in cost of importing furniture by over 13%

In January-July this year, Azerbaijan imported furniture and its components for $59.558 million, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

This is $7.20 million or 13.36% more than in the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the cost of importing furniture and its components amounted to 0.79% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.

In January-July this year, Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries for $30.59 billion. Over the past seven months, the share of exports in foreign trade turnover amounted to $22.565 billion, while imports made $7.494 billion.
