Azerbaijan's non-oil exports up by over 40% in January-October

From January through October 2021, Azerbaijan exported goods worth $16.8 billion, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication.

The share of the non-oil sector reached $2.05 billion.

Thus, non-oil exports, compared to the same period of 2020, increased by $607.2 million, or 42%.

From January through October 2021, the export of food products increased by 3.2% to $582.2 million.

During the reporting period, non-oil exports of ferrous metals (3.2 times), copper and copper products (2.2 times), cotton (87.6%), organic chemicals (40.6%), sugar and confectionery (59.2%), aluminum and aluminum products (61.7%), precious metals and products made from them (4.3%) increased as well.
