Azerbaijan’s bentonite production more than doubled in 1Q2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 68,900 tons of bentonite, representing a 2.1-fold increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

As of April 1, 2025, the country had 170,100 tons of bentonite in stock.

Meanwhile, 253,100 tons of bentonite were produced in Azerbaijan in 2024, which is 2 times more than in 2023.
