Some large state-owned enterprises in Azerbaijan will be privatized in the investment competition, Report informs referring to the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy.
Investors' proposals will be discussed.
The State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy continues its work on attracting investors to the privatization process of state property. The State Service states that it is open to discussing investment proposals for revitalizing and developing the activities of enterprises to be privatized by bringing information about some production enterprises to the attention of entrepreneurs.
Most of the listed enterprises are intended to be privatized through investment competitions. Therefore, proposals of interested parties will be discussed during the preparation of competition conditions.
Attracting larger amounts of investments to the country's economy, technological modernization of morally and physically worn out enterprises, mobilizing their potential and achieving competitive and export-oriented product production, as well as by offering enterprises put to competition at a price lower than the real market value for the purpose of creating new jobs, the possibilities of applying support measures to potential investors can also be considered.
