For the January-to-April period of 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, other vehicles worth 167.8 million manats ($98.7 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production surged 30.8%, other transport facilities went up 4.4-fold, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers – by 2.5 times.
In the reporting period, 710 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 202 vehicles or 39.8% more from the same period last year. As of May 1, 2022, the country has stocked 673 finished products.
During the first months, Azerbaijan produced 169 tractors, 4.3% more than in January-April 2021. As a result, the country had 36 finished products as of April 1.
