From January through August 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 332.4 million manats ($195.5 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The machinery and equipment production surged 38.5%, other transport facilities went up 3.3-fold, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers – by 2.3 times.
For the January-to-August period of 2022, 1,389 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 139 vehicles, or 11.1% more than the same period last year. As of September 1, 2022, the country has stocked 229 finished products.
During the first eight months of this year, Azerbaijan produced 404 tractors, 6.5% less than in January-August 2021. As a result, the country had 27 finished products as of September 1.
