From January through July this year, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 49.3 billion manats ($29 billion), up 1.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, production in the oil sector remained unchanged, and the non-oil and gas sector increased by 10.7%.
Some 75.6% of industrial products were in the mining sector, 20.5% in the processing sector, 3.3% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, 0.6% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.
Commercial oil production in the mining sector decreased by 4.5%, while marketable gas production rose by 15.3%.
The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam sector grew by 2.2%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 4.8%.
