Azerbaijan metals output rises despite drop in some products

In January–April 2026, the total value of metallurgy and finished metal products produced in Azerbaijan reached 518.3 million manats ($304.8 million), according to the State Statistical Committee.

This figure represents a 9.6% increase in metallurgical industry output compared to the same period last year, while production of finished metal products fell by 17.9%.

Over the past year, rebar production increased by 13% and aluminium products rose by 12.1%. In contrast, production of other metal goods declined sharply by 68.7%.
