Azerbaijan increases salt production by 4%

In January-February 2025, 13,100 tons of salt were produced in Azerbaijan, 4% more compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In February, 5,775 tons of salt were produced in the country, which is 3.9% less than a year ago.

As of March 1, Azerbaijan had a stock of salt in the amount of 21.5 tons.

In 2024, 89,456 tons of salt were produced in Azerbaijan, 22.1% more than in 2023.
