Azerbaijan increases gypsum and anhydrite production by 18%

In January-April 2025, 148,000 tons of gypsum and anhydrite were produced in Azerbaijan, 18% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

As of May 1, the country had 33,500 tons of finished product stocks.

In 2024, 570,500 tons of gypsum and anhydrite were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 4.8% less than in 2023.
