Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 61.4 million manats ($36.12 million) in January 2023, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production was boosted by 80.3%, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 7.9%, and other transport facilities dropped by 23.5%.
In January of this year, 195 private vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan, 93 cars or 91.2% more than the same period last year. As of February 1, 2023, the country had stocked 314 finished products.
During the first month of 2023, Azerbaijan produced 101 tractors, 3.4-fold more than in January 2022. As a result, the country had 17 finished products as of February 1.
At the same time, truck production dropped 20% to 40 (finished products - 9).
