From January through October 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 441.2 million manats (roughly $260 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production surged 45%, other transport facilities went up 3.2-fold, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers – by 81.7%.
For the January-to-October period of 2022, 1,634 private vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan, 264 cars or 13.9% less than the same period last year. As of November 1, 2022, the country has stocked 117 finished products.
During the first three quarters of this year, Azerbaijan produced 532 tractors, 8.4% less than in January-October 2021. As a result, the country had 20 finished products as of November 1.
