Azerbaijan boosts gold production by over 49%

Between January and July 2025, Azerbaijan produced 1,862.7 kilograms of gold and 2,533.5 kilograms of silver, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to data, gold production rose by 49.2%, while silver output increased by 32.9% compared to the same seven-month period in 2024.

During this period, the country also produced 1,693.4 tons of copper concentrate, which is 15.1 times more than the figure recorded a year earlier.

As of August 1, Azerbaijan’s reserves stood at 167.5 kilograms of gold, 577.3 kilograms of silver, and 255.3 tons of copper concentrate.
