Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have agreed to create a silk production cluster in 6 districts near the city of Barda and implement new processing projects in Yevlakh Pilot Agropark and Aghdam Industrial Park, Report informs, citing Uzbek media.
During the visit of Mikayil Jabbarov, the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, to Tashkent, the sides discussed investment and industrial cooperation between the countries and agreed on several issues related to joint projects.
During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the organization of a joint enterprise for the production of jewelry in Tashkent, as well as on the development of cooperation in the fields of the chemical industry, energy and oil and gas.
