Baku. 19 December. REPORT.AZ/ Argus will hold an international conference in Baku next year.
Report informs that the conference ‘Argus Fertilizer 2019. Production and Logistics in the Caspian and Black Sea Region’ will take place at the Boulevard Hotel Baku, Azerbaijan, on 14-15 March.
Key topics to be discussed in the conference include: SOCAR Carbamide Plant: Challenges and prospects. Azerbaijan enters the international fertilizer market, ammonia and urea markets in the Caspian and Black Sea region, Azerbaijan’s agricultural industry: Current outlook and demand for nutrients and other issues.
One of the key issues at the conference will be discussing import of fertilizers to Azerbaijan. The rapid development of agricultural sphere and agroindustrial complex in Azerbaijan will increase the country's demand for fertilizers. Every year the CIS countries see the demand growing on Azerbaijan-made production with quality and ecological safety meeting all world standards. The wide geography of supplies and expansion of the commodity groups of exported production require the flawless provision of farming enterprises with essential nutrients.
The visit to SOCAR Carbamide Plant manufacturing area will be organized as part of the event.
The conference will bring together fertilizer producers from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, international trading companies and distributors from Turkey, Ukraine and Eastern Europe, as well as transport and logistics companies.
