Anglo-Asian Mining on 2023 production plans in Azerbaijan

The British company Anglo-Asian Mining Plc, which mines gold, silver and copper in Azerbaijan, plans to produce 50,000-54,000 ounces of gold equivalent in fiscal year 2023, Report informs, citing the British company.

This year, production of 4,100-4,300 tons of copper and 30,000-32,000 ounces of gold is forecast.

In 2023, the company predicts copper production growth of 63-71%. Gold mining in the reporting period will be reduced by 26-30%.

In 2022, the company's total production amounted to 57,618 ounces in gold equivalent. Of these, 2,516 tons were copper and 43,114 tons were gold.
