Two enterprises with a total investment value of 39.2 million manats ($23.05 million) are planned to start operating in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park in 2024, Report informs.
The construction chemicals-producing factory of Kartash Kimya LLC and the IVECO light, medium and heavy tonnage trucks-producing factory of Az-Tex-Import LLC are planned to start operating in the industrial park.
Necmeddin Tasbag, the director of Kartash Kimya LLC, said that the work at the construction chemicals-producing factory is about to be completed:
“In the coming months, the installation of equipment will start at the facility. The investment value of the enterprise, which will provide permanent employment to 250 people, is 20 million manats ($11.76 million), and more than 15 million manats ($8.82 million) have already been injected in the project so far.”
According to Tasbag, in addition to construction chemicals, the factory will also produce waterproof materials for various purposes and flooring products for the first time in the country.
As many as 90 people will be provided with permanent jobs in the truck production factory with an investment value of 19.2 million manats ($11.29 million). The products of the enterprise, which will manufacture 100 cars per year, will be sold in the domestic market, as well as exported to Russia, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Iran.
