World Shooting Championship: Winners in three more categories announced

The winners of three more categories were announced on Wednesday at the World Shooting Championship organized in Baku.

Report informs that Swiss Anja Senti won the gold medal in women's 50-meter rifle prone with 627.7 points.

France's Annette Muller claimed the silver medal. Marianne Palo of Finland took third place. In the team competition, Switzerland was first, followed by Norway and Austria.

Chinese Sixuan Feng became the world champion with 572 points in women's 25-meter standard pistol shooting. The famous Greek shooter Anna Korakaki took second place, while Austrian Silvia Steiner claimed the bronze medal. China claimed the team competition in this category, Azerbaijan secured silver and India won bronze.

Indian Amanpreet Singh (577 points) was ahead of everyone in men's 25-meter standard pistol shooting. Gunhyeok Lee from South Korea won silver, and Kevin Chapon from France won bronze. In the team competition, China claimed the gold medal, followed by Germany and Korea.
