At the 53rd World Shooting Championship held in Baku, the next prize-winners in the same category among men and women have been determined.
Report informs that Maciej Kowalewicz, who represented Poland, won the title in the men's 300m Rifle 3 Positions with 587 points.
The second place was taken by another Polish athlete Tomasz Bartnik with 586 points. The bronze medal went to Swiss Pascal Bachmann, who scored the same number of points as Tomasz.
In the team category, Switzerland was the first, Austria was the second, and Norway was the third.
In 300m Rifle 3 Positions-Women, the gold medal went to Norwegian Katrine Lund, who scored 581 points. Karolina Romanczyk from Poland claimed the silver medal with 579 points. Swiss shooter Silvia Guignard Schnider, who scored as many points as Karolina, ranked third.
In the team category, Norway was first, Switzerland second, and Germany third.
