Baku. 8 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani judoka Vugar Talibov, the winner of 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina, spoke after the final encounter.
Report informs that the 15-year-old athlete has made a statement to the press service of the National Olympic Committee. "I am extremely happy. Especially, I am glad that I am the one who won the first gold medal from Azerbaijan. I express my gratitude to the leadership of our Federation and everyone who helped and supported me, " Talibov said.
Notably, Vugar Talibov won a gold medal in the 66kg division. He made history as the first Azerbaijani junior Olympic champion in judo.
