Baku. 7 December. REPORT.AZ/ The Sports Research Center has launched the "Winners of the Year-2018" project.
Information supporter of the project, which has been implemented for the 6th consecutive year, is Report news agency and its sponsor is "İl`Azero" company.
Compared to previous projects, the names and content of some nominations have been changed
The "Team of the Year" and "Sports Journalist of the Year" were removed from the list of nominations.
It was decided to carry out the selection for the title of "Chief Coach of the Year" on all types of sport. At the initial stage of the project, nominations will be held among sports journalists working in various mass media (one of each media outlet), on "Sportsperson of the Year", "Athlete of the Year", "Foreign athlete of the Year", "Footballer of the Year", "Coach of the Year" "Sports competition of the year”. Apart from proposed candidates, journalists can also choose a person who they think deserves it.The winner will be announced and will be awarded at the Baku Olympic Stadium on December 18.
