The German newspaper Bild has shared a new 2020 Formula 1 calendar, which also reveals the date for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
According to the calendar, the season will not start earlier than July.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on September 6, according to Bild.
However, Bild claims that it has the first details about the new calendar and can, therefore, provide further information about the schedule to be formed.
The complete calendar counts seventeen races.
The calendar is as follows:
July 5 - 12: Austrian Grand Prix
July 26 and August 2: Grand Prix of Great Britain
August 16 and 18: Grand Prix of Hungary
September6: Azerbaijan Grand Prix
September 20: Singapore Grand Prix
September 27: Grand Prix of Russia
October 4: Grand Prix of China
October 11: Grand Prix of Japan
October 25: Grand Prix of America
November 1: Grand Prix of Mexico
November 8: Grand Prix of Brazil
November 22: Vietnam Grand Prix
December 6: Grand Prix of Bahrain
December 13: Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi
The start of the F1 2020 season has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, the Formula 1 also delayed the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Vietnam, China, the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada and canceled the rounds of Australian and Monaco Grand Prix. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix had been scheduled for June 5-7.
