Paris-2024: Azerbaijani judoka advances to quarterfinals

Azerbaijani judoka Ushangi Kokauri, competing in the men’s 100 kg weight category, faced Martti Puumalainen (Finland) in the 1/8 finals at the Paris Summer Olympic Games.

Report informs that the Azerbaijani judoka defeated his opponent by ippon, making his way to the quarterfinals where he will face Kim Min-jong (South Korea).
