Olympic House in Paris hosts event honoring Azerbaijani athletes’ victory

A meeting dedicated to the victory of Azerbaijani athletes was held at the Olympic House operating in Paris within the framework of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Report informs.

The meeting was attended by several distinguished figures, such as the Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov; Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva; Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev; Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, Chingiz Huseynzada; Secretary General Azer Aliyev; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to France, Leyla Abdullayeva; and Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev.

Also present were Olympic and world champions, athletes representing Azerbaijan at the Olympics, coaches, media representatives, and representatives from various countries.

At the event, Azerbaijani judokas Hidayat Heydarov and Zelym Kotsoiev, champions of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, were warmly greeted with joy and applause and received congratulations on their victory.

During the artistic segment, young singer Mardan Band entertained the audience with a variety of captivating Azerbaijani music.
